09/05/2023-The day has finally arrived for me to try this eye treatment with the wonderful Lucy at Personally You Medical Cosmetics.

I have always tried to keep on top of the inevitable lines and wrinkles that come with my 59 years and have been seeing Lucy for the last 10 years or so for regular treatments with Botox and Profhilo, and combined with my own regular self-care, skin care and avoiding the sun where possible I am pleased with the results.

One of my biggest concerns is the under-eye area-slightly crepy skin, fine lines and wrinkles and so when Lucy discussed the NCTF treatment in my consultation I was keen to proceed and am delighted to begin my treatment journey today.

I am happy to share details of my treatments and I am sending Lucy regular photos and would be delighted if you would share this journey with me.

Day 1- Treatment 1: Lucy welcomed me into her lovely treatment room and once again fully discussed the treatment also taking ‘before photos’

The treatment commenced with a thorough cleanse of my whole face followed by a mild peel which was left on for 3 minutes, I experienced no stinging or redness and my skin felt smooth and polished after the peel was removed.

After a further cleanse to the eye area Lucy began my treatment gently injecting small amounts of the NCTF into the skin in the under-eye area and surrounding crows feet. Having known Lucy for a number of years and trusting her strong anatomy knowledge, I was relaxed and happy throughout.

I felt no discomfort, perhaps a tiny pinch close to the inner eye area, but nothing alarming and I was fully at ease with Lucy.

Following the injections Lucy applied a cool, calming eye mask for several minutes, which was lovely, she then applied a recovery cream to my whole face and under eye area followed by SPF 50.

Initially, looking in the mirror, the eye area looked slightly pink and puffy with small blebs of the product injected, but I was reassured this would quickly settle.

My drive home was 40 minutes, and on arrival my under-eye area was pretty much back to looking normal, I followed the aftercare advise of no make-up and leave the areas well alone and by the next morning there was no visible sign of the treatment having been carried out.

Day 5 post treatment – Treatment 1: My eye area definitely looks smoother, and I am delighted with the progress so far. The next 2 treatments are booked at 2 weekly intervals and I am excited to see the end results.

Treatment 2-23/05/2023

The treatment process is much the same excepting the peel being left on my face for 5 minutes again with no side effects, my face felt smooth after this gentle peel and is also benefiting any uneven skin tone. 

Knowing how the injections feel I had no anxiety about the treatment.

Again, slight redness and slight bumps to the under-eye area quickly resolved and settled nicely, I met friends for dinner that evening with no evidence of my treatment showing.

Day 3 post treatment -Treatment 2: The under-eye area is nicely balanced, no redness or visible sign of the treatment and I see a brightening in the area, certainly more youthful.

1-week post treatment 2: The eye area is definitely improving, fine lines and wrinkles seem to be lighter, and I am delighted with the improvement so far, the process is making me give more consideration to my skin care routine and especially staying out of the sun.

I have received a few comments that I look well, which is nice too. I am looking forward to having treatment 3.

Treatment 3-06/06/2023: So, after another 2 weeks I am at Lucy’s clinic for my final treatment of NCTF, again the treatment process is much as previous treatments excepting the peel is left on for 7 minutes, during the treatment I lay relaxed and listening to music for around 15mins.

I can’t stress enough within an hour the undereye area is pretty much back to normal, and your day can continue as normal however be aware no make-up can be applied the same day.

Day 5 post treatment: photographs show a distinct improvement in the eye area, fine lines are definitely less obvious, the under-eye skin just feels more robust, and I am very happy with the results.

I find when I’m applying my usual tinted moisturiser (SPF-30) it just sits better in the area, blending nicely and leaving a smoother, dewy look which I love.

20/06/2023-post treatment visit to Lucy: The treatment has been very beneficial to the under-eye area, noticeably finer lines, and smoother skin.

The injections with the nano needle are fairly painless, the recovery remarkably quick and I have felt happy and relaxed during the whole process.

Lucy is a wonderful practitioner, highly experienced and an expert in her treatment range.
