Treatment takes around 10 – 20 minutes and is relatively pain free, although some patients experience a stinging sensation which usually dissipates quickly.

Several tiny injections are applied to the specific treatment area to give a smoother, tighter appearance to the skin. The effects of the treatment normally last 3-6 months, but in order to maintain optimum results and appearance you will need to repeat the treatment.

Lucy qualified as a registered general nurse in 1987 and worked within the NHS in 2 General hospitals. In 2001 Lucy became a vascular nurse specialist, working in this specialty at Winchester General hospital later further advancing her role into Southampton General Hospital and continued her career in the NHS moving to a GP practice in 2015 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
